No. These versions cannot be upgraded to TeeChart Pro. Users are required to buy a developer license at the current single-license price. A DEVELOPER LICENSE is required per programmer who should be using TeeChart Pro, just as with the programming environments. This license is Run-time royalty free when distributed as part of a desktop application. That means you may distribute your programs with TeeChart compiled within. In the case that your application End-Users may access, retouch or recompile any of the TeeChart components therein or script with them on a web server, a separate regular developer or webserver license must be purchased. A WEB SERVER LICENSE is required for each web server serving the teeChart Control with a serverside scriptable module. This license is available as separate product to the Developer license, but is only available to programmers in possession of at least one Developer license. Whether or not your need an additional Webserver runtime license depends on whether or not your Web server application allows its browser clientbase to customize TeeCharts using TeeChartControl's methods and properties. This is usually achieved by allowing scriptable access to the TeeChart Control at the server via ASP, JSP, etc., housing it in a VBUserControl or compiling it into an ISAP DLL. If this is your intention then you are required to buy a Web server runtime license for each server that runs a scripted TeeChart in addition to the necessary Developer license(s). If, on the other hand, your server, in a manner independent of any client or timer activity, only provides a static image file or a codebase download via one of TeeChart's CAB files (for example) for the loading of a TeeChart TEE file then a Web server runtime license is not required.
