Re: Graph parameters font size in TeeChart version 4.2022.7.14

Hello! After further investigation, it seems that the font size is the same but the gaps between the graph parameters are smaller in the newer version. Is there a way to decrease the gaps between the graph parameters so more parameters will fit in the graph view? TeeChart is very configurable, so I ...

Re: dotnet core6 image export issue

Hello, There is a problem with the image copied to the clipboard by clicking the btnOk button. yes, that's what I referred to as the 'black rectangle' in my last message. You will find, as I said, that changing the position of that single line of code resolves the issue of a 'black rectangle' both w...

Re: Chart Colors Differ after Upgrade

Hello Kris, I plan to give a demo showing the use of the upgraded TeeChart next week and if I leave that area white, I am going to be asked about it (that's how detailed my team is). So, is there a way to get that white to turn back to grey? If there is not, then that is what I will report but I nee...

Re: TeeChart v2022 Licensing Issue - Can't embed into exe project

Hello Kris,

not being able to embed TeeChart.licenses into an exe is not a problem, at least from our side to keep to Steema's licensing agreement. As I explain here, as long as the TeeChart.licenses file is in the same directory as TeeChart.dll then it should work.

Re: Chart Colors Differ after Upgrade

Hello Kris,

I would imagine that if you didn't specify series colours in your code, e.g.

Code: Select all

tChart1[0].Color = Color.Red;
then the colours are being read from the default theme, which has been changed over the years. Are you specifying series colours in your code?

Re: Add function use?

Hello, yes, you can achieve this with code such as the following: private void InitializeChart() { var bar = new Bar(tChart1.Chart); var markstip = new MarksTip(tChart1.Chart); var list = new List<Student> { new Student { Age = 10, Name = "Tom" }, new Student { Age = 10, Name = "Lily" }, new Student...

Re: Add function use?

Hello, yes, you can use the IList overload of the Add function to do this, e.g. private void InitializeChart() { var bar = new Bar(tChart1.Chart); var list = new List<Student> { new Student { Age = 10, Name = "Tom" }, new Student { Age = 10, Name = "Lily" }, new Student { Age = 16, Name = "Jack" } }...

Re: TeeChart License not working when compressing application

Hi Sean, distributing the file is not contrary to our licensing agreement, as TeeChart.dll requires a valid TeeChart.licenses file to be distributed with it in order to remove the watermark. Usually the licenses file is distributed as an embedded resource within the exe binary, but even so it is tra...

Re: TeeChart License not working when compressing application

Hello Sean, Is there any other way to package the license at runtime? yes, yes there is, you don't have to embed the license. As long as the license is in the same directory as the TeeChart.dll then it should work—for example, a simple project built in Release with the license set to 'Copy always': ...

Re: TeeChart License not working when compressing application

Hello Sean, is this the Netz you mean here? https://madebits.github.io/#r/msnet-netz-compressor.md If so, then I'm not sure how we can help as we have no experience using this application. I read here that: By default .NETZ supports compression using #ZipLib or .NET 2.0’s IO.Compression.DeflateStrea...
