Delphi 2005 - TeeChart 7.02 PROBLEM

Hi,

i have Windows 2000 SP4, Delphi 2005 Pro and TeeChart 7.02 installed using binary installer.

Constructing a simple project with a graph and a TeeCommander, when i try to compile i get the message :

"Unit TeeComma was compiled with a different version of TeeProcs.TCustomPanelNoCaption"

When i install Delphi 2005 Update 1, i get the same message.

Hi Minas,

yes, the installation under Delphi2005 requires que source code. If you're source code customer download the source installer and install from sources (using the TeeRecompile tool).

As you know ,

i am not a source code customer !

What should i do ?

Why you release a binary installer for Delphi 2005 if i can not make the installation correct ?

I have a lot of projects where i am using your tools , and my customers are waiting for upgrades but i can not re-compile them.

Please do something !

It should work fine, but seems that there're problems in some cases. Have you tried using the latest TeeChart7.02Delphi2005.exe installer from our web site ?
I've just downloaded it and installed in a clean Delphi2005 and all is working fine :
Borland Developer Studio for Microsoft Windows Version 9.0.1761.24408 Update 1.(in a Windows Server 2003).

i have downloaded the TeeChart7.02Delphi2005.exe before a while (3-1-2005 14:30) but i have the same problem as i mentioned some days ago :

"Unit TeeComma was compiled with a different version of TeeProcs.TCustomPanelNoCaption"

I have Windows XP SP2, Borland Developer Studio Ver. 9.0.1761.24408 Update 1.

I must find a solution as quick as possible because my projects are frozen and my clients are getting angry.

"If we lost our customers, you will lost your customers"

Please do something !

Hi.

It appears the problem is the installer does not remove all old TeeChart v4 Standard files from Delphi2005 lib folder. We'll fix this asap. In the meantime a simple workaround is to move TeeChart v7 library path to the first position in Library path list so that Delphi will find and use new TeeChart dcu/dcp units instead of the TeeChart v4 Standard units, located in BDS\3.0\Lib\ folder. This can be done via the "Tools->Options->Library - Win32" menu. Then just click on the button besides the "Library path" list, select the path which points to TeeChart v7 \Lib\ folder and move it to the first place in the list.
