Are you using v2014.10.140220 Pro SourceCode version?
I can't reproduce it with v2014.10.140220 Pro binary for XE4, that should be identical.

I use a source version which I have got by Narcís at March 13. It has solved other bugs
But I do not know if it has a different version number and where it is located.

Hi Uli,

You can find out the version number by right-clicking on a TChart component at design-time. However, this may not be accurate with test versions. It's a VCL application in RAD Studio XE4?

Anyway, I'm not able to reproduce it here. I'm going to send you the latest sources so that you can check if it solves the problem at your end.

Hello Narcís,

as the displayed version number is not changed with different test versions it does not really make sense to talk about.

Anyway the latest source has solved the exception problem.
Furthermore I recognize that Delphi VCL is now running much quicker. Also the compiler benefits from speed improvement.
So now I wonder what has caused the slow down before.

Not sure on this. We would need to see some test case to be able to provide an answer. Some recent changes that might improve this are some gauge clipping and loops to draw ellipses being removed.
