TeeChart 2015.15.150420 VCL/FMX release available

Greetings!
Steema Support Central writes to inform you of the availability of the latest TeeChart VCL/FMX release which adds support for RAD Studio XE8.
TeeChart VCL/FMX customers may download the version at no-charge from the
customer download page.
The new 2015.15 update includes TeeChart Pro binary and source code installers for all development environments already supported and adds full support for RAD Studio XE8. TeeChart Standard installers will follow up shortly.
The maintenance release adds full support for RAD Studio XE8, completely new installation system and contains some
new features, improvements and bug fixes. Release notes may be viewed at the
version info page.
ATTENTION: For those users with
problems with missing GDIPOBJ & GDIPAPI headers, you can download them
here.

Hi,
I downloaded and installed it in Delphi XE6 and XE8. I (still) have problems with loading packages in Delphi XE8 (Delphi XE6 has no problems - loading packages went perfectly)
1. I ran TeeCompile.exe and checked Delphi XE6 and XE8. Installation went just fine.
Here are settings

2. When I run delphi xe8 I get error messages:
- Error message 1

and it asks me if I would like to load it next time or not (classic).
3. If I try to install them manually from Delphi menu "Install packages" it says it cannot find selected file (eventhough I selected it!?!)
Now I don't know if there is a problem with delphi or teechart. As I said it works perfectly with Delphi XE6. I already reinstalled everything several times without any luck.

Hello,
It may be due to a lack of writing rights at "C:\Windows\System32" and "C:\Windows\SysWOW64".
Try moving the according files manually:
- In a 64bit Windows:
- *.bpl from "\Compiled\Delphi22.win32\System\" to "C:\Windows\SysWOW64"
- *.bpl from "\Compiled\Delphi22.win64\System\" to "C:\Windows\System32"
- - In a 32bit Windows:
- *.bpl from "\Compiled\Delphi22.win32\System\" to "C:\Windows\System32"
Now try to reopen the IDE.

Hi,
thanks. I checked out several things, including my BitDefender antivir sw. It reports that TeeCompile might be potentionally dangerous.

Anyways I put TeeCompile on my whitelist and now it seems fine.
Next thing I checked was folders System32 and SysWOW64 and you was right. There were bpl files in System32 but not in SysWOW64. I checked out security rights and for both folders are same so this should not be an issue.
I opened both folders at same time and re-ran TeeCompile.exe and started installation for XE8 and XE6 and I notice that bpls are automatically copied to System32 only(after folder content compare)

It seem TeeCompile.exe doesn't copy files to SysWOW64. Is this problem on my side? Can you confirm that you really copy files to SysWOW64?
After that I manually copied bpls to SysWOW64 everything works fine.

I've re-checked it running TeeRecompile against several IDEs and I can confirm it always copies the necessary files to both System32 and SysWOW64.

If I'm not wrong, you hold a TeeChart Pro license. That gives you access to the Pro version which includes Standard functionality plus many additional features as you can see in
this feature matrix.

So it seems that there is a file error in the source package.
But on the other side e.g. Delphi XE7 compiles well.

Hello Uli,
There are a few files that sometimes get corrupted after a compilation, and TeeOfficeConstants.pas is one of them.
Please try to overwrite the file with a fresh copy of the file and recompile again.

Hello,
I'm trying to install TeeChart 2015.15.150420 Std on my Win7 64bit Pc.
Cause I'm using XE7 and XE8 I checked both libraries in the installer.
On XE7 everything went fine and TeeChart was correctly installed.
On XE8 when I run the IDE I get an error which reports that TEE9220.bpl is not present on my computer.
I try to copy the *.bpl files in Windows system folders but in fact I haven't found TEE9220.bpl on my disk.
How can I solve this problem ?

Hello Davide,
The tee packages ending in zero (TEE9220.bpl) are the Lite/Standard packages that were shipped with the IDE.
So it seems the Lite version is still being loaded at the IDE startup.
I'd suggest you to open the IDE with no project loaded and check the "Component\Install Packages.." list.
