Trying to install 2015 into D7

Post by alanmcd » Tue Jun 23, 2015 2:35 am

I have Indy 10 installed in D7
But TeeImport97 requires the old Indy files.
I cannot replace the required indy with indyProtocols, Core and System and I cannot run indy70.bpl with the other newer packages becuase of conflict.
Is there a way of installing 2015 with Indy 10 for Delphi 7?
I'm using TeeRecompile but it fails and I can;t work out a way of making it work with version 10

TeeImport97

Cannot recompile Delphi package: TeeImport97.dpk

Hello,

My environment:
Windows 8.1 x64
Delphi 7
TeeChart Pro v2015.15

Here is what I've done:
- I've dowloaded the Indy packages from here:
https://indy.fulgan.com/ZIP/

- I've extracted the zip and opened IndyCore70.dpk and dclIndyCore70.dpk from "Core" folder. I could compile both packages without problems.

- I found an error when tried to install dclIndyCore70.dpk:

- I've unselected the Indy component that was shipped with Delphi 7: "Internet Direct (Indy) for D7 Property and Component Editors", dclIndy70.bpl.

- I found another error when tried to install dclIndyCore70.dpk:

- I've unselected all the "TeeChart *" components. Now I could install dclIndyCore70.dpk. And after it I could reselect the "TeeChart *" components:

Is that what you are trying to achieve?
Is the procedure above working for you?

I can't be sure what I've done now, but it appears that even though Decision Cube was not selected (ticked) I was still receiving error messages about dcldss70.bpl. Actually removing the packages seems to have fixed it.
