Bottom axis tick labels too far from x axis when...

I am using Delphi XE2 and TeeChart Pro v2015.16.150901 32 bit VCL.
The previous version I used - 2012 - did not exhibit this issue.

Bottom axis tick labels too far from x axis when LabelsMultiLine is used - see attached image.
I need to have date and time on two lines rotated by 90 degrees so workarounds mentioned elsewhere in this forum will not resolve the issue for me.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
