Adding data to zoomed custom axis

TeeChart Pro 2016, Berlin 10.1

I am able to zoom a chart with custom axes, via methods provided in these forums.

But if I add data to the chart in a zoomed state, data is written outside the chart boundaries. This doesn't happen with standard axes.

I have verified that Chart->ClipPoints is still true.

How do I get new data to respect the zoom limits of the custom axes?
