I remembered that I have never activate the license by TeeCalc_lic.exe. ("3) that a license is installed" means that I entered the License number and password when I installed Teechart).

However, VS 2019 allows me to use TeeChart without any error even though I have never activated the license by TeeCalc_lic.exe.

I have 2 question:
1)Is the reason why I can't use Teechart in VS2022 because I haven't activated the license?
2)Why TeeChart for .NET 2012 can be used in VS 2019 even though the license has been never activated?

again, apologies for our delay in getting back to you here.

I think there is some confusion here. Historically, the TeeChart assemblies (TeeChart.dll, TeeChart.WPF.dll etc. etc.) have been delivered to client machines in two different ways:
1. Using a stand-alone installer
2. Using NuGet packages and TeeCalc_Lic

As you can see here, the first NuGet package was published in September 2018. All TeeChart versions prior to September 2018, therefore, do not need to run TeeChart_Lic, as the old stand-alone installer had this functionality built into it.
