The first full release binary and source code installers are now available from Steema's Customer Download pages accessible via:

Evaluation version binary installers are also now available.

Hello everyone,

First of all notice that this is not a TeeChart for .NET v3 maintenance release. It is first release of next TeeChart for .NET major release version. Hence the lack of issues logged in the release notes. You can find what's new in this version here:

In addition to no info in the release notes, I only see the March releases at the download link.

Are you using TeeChart for .NET 2009 license keys for that?

Oops - my bad.

I am really waiting for a fix that is supposed to be in an upcoming maintenance release for .NET v3. Just to be certain, there still is another v3 update on its way?

Yes, we are working on a v3 maintenance release too. A date hasn't been fixed yet though.

Just to understand. In the April release there are no bug fixes ? . I am also waiting for a few bug fixes in the 3.5 version

Hi qcrnd,

April's release is the first public version of TeeChart for .NET 2009. Therefore, at that moment there where no issues reported with this version. However, all issues fixed in v3 that also existed in v2009 were also fixed there.

So I should wait for fixes in the v3. correct. ?
I would like to know how long you are going to continue support v3 and fix bugs. Ive got about 10 bugs that I am waiting to be fixed. Will they be fixed in v3 or some will be fixed only in v4 ?

Yes. In fact, a new v3 maintenance release will be published imminently.

I would like to know how long you are going to continue support v3 and fix bugs.

Technical support for v3 won't be discontinued. However at some stage we will cease to publish updates. We can commit to fix reasonable issues in v3 for about a year.

Ive got about 10 bugs that I am waiting to be fixed. Will they be fixed in v3 or some will be fixed only in v4 ?

I can't tell you that for sure. Maybe some of them are already fixed for the next maintenance release. However, if any issue has a workaround proposal it may not get fixed in v3, depending on the cost of porting the fixes from v4 to v3. This depends on every specific issue.

We currently use Visual Studio 2005 with .NET Framework 2.0 using Winforms.

Will TeeChart Version 4.0 work for us?
